Loctite 565 Thread Sealant LOCTITE® 565 ™ is designed for the locking and sealing of metal pipes and fittings. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Feature: • General purpose instant sealant for metal tapered and straight/ tapered fittings. • Controlled strength for ease of disassembly. • Rapid cures, provide immediate low pressure sealing • Controlled lubricity prevents galling and gives rust and corrosion protection. With excellent solvent resistance, it can prevent galling and withstand temperatures up to 400° F ( 204° C) . Excellent for high pressure applications: locks and seals tapered metal, pipe threads and fittings. It is ideal for stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized metal and other inert metals. Disassembles with hand tools. Particularly suitable for use on stainless steel without the need for surface activation. And it also can be uesd at low temperatures requiring fast cure.
